Library

I’m Rachel Eaton, and I am SO excited to be your elementary school librarian! Being a librarian has always been a dream job for me, and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to spend my days surrounded by books, learning, and students.

I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's in Education and spent many years teaching 4th and 5th grades.  I later earned my Masters Degree in Library Science and worked as an Elementary Librarian in Frisco. I am now so excited to be a part of Argyle ISD.

I have always loved reading, and I believe there is a great book out there for everyone. Some of my favorite books are A Wrinkle in Time and the Harry Potter series. I also love anything by Patricia Polacco or Kate DiCamillo and can almost always be found enjoying a good fantasy or historical fiction book. I’m always on the lookout for my next favorite story!

When I’m not at school, I’m spending time with my husband, Kyle, and our four children. I love watching my children perform and play sports, and of course, there are always plenty of books around our house!

I’m so excited to make our library a place where you can discover new stories, explore new ideas, find books you love, and feel right at home. I can’t wait to see you in the library!
